This was a 5 day break-out project which was run in collaboration with the MA Medical Device Design students. 'A Spoonful of Sugar' was a pharmaceutical industry led brief. The design teams were asked to explore the area of medicine administration to children in the home.

 

It was important in this brief to focus on parents taking a greater role in managing the care of their child, whilst also addressing the stressful nature of such a situation. Our team explored multiple ideas before pitching 3 early designs at the 'report out'. Following on from the feedback given at this presentation, we combined 2 of the strong ideas into one package and took it to a higher fidelity of prototyping.
