   'MAN AND MACHINE'

06/10/15 - 16/10/15

For this project we were first set the task to evaluate a user interface situated in a public space. Our team identified the self-service photograph developer kiosks, which are usually located in shopping centres, as a potential interface that may need re-evaluation. After performing a heuristic evaluation of the interface from a expert standpoint. Our team then analysed the findings, and based on this information conducted additional usablity tests with patricipating memebers of the public. This information was compiled into a client report which highlighted particular usablities issues that were uncovered.

For the second half of Man and Machine, our task was to evaluate the usablity of a website of our choice. Our team examined the usablitiy of a well known fast-food website. Following from our heuristic evaulation, we then individually began to generate ideas from a re-design of the site, that would address the issues uncovered from our research. This lead to low-fidelity paper prototypes, that could be user tested and quickly adjusted based on the needs and feedback from the pubic.
