This two day work shop taught us the basics in physical computing and programming. Coordinated with the designer Niki Collier and programmer Rem, we incorperated physical computing with textiles and material. Using stainless steel thread I attached LED's and the arduino based 'GEMMA 2' Adafruit micro-controller, which when powered allowed me to program the LED's using JEdit software.

I created a sock puppet, which was brought to life by the LED eyes and LED heart which blinked on/off in the motion of a heartbeat. This ablity to bring objects to life through the use of technology greatly interests me, and I believe can very instrumental humans building a meaningful interaction with technology.
